January is the perfect time to be in community with other equity minded educators. The MLL Ecosystem Project is a space to deepen practice, expand language equity, and build sustainable, multilingual ecosystems so that our multilingual students thrive.
Whether you are an educational leader designing systems aligned with your values, or an educator strengthening your instructional toolbox, we are stronger when we learn and grow in community together. Join our January cohort and start the year grounded, connected, and moving with purpose. Secure your spot today! I’ve had the pleasure of co-writing with Mayuko Perkins, an amazing MLL specialist at an international school in Asia. We wrote about our reflections and the questions we need to be asking the systems that serve our multilingual learners. "The next brave step in cultivating a multilingual ecosystem is the act of shedding these biases and daring to try something that feels unfamiliar and perhaps scary. That’s the thing about radical dreaming, it invites us to build something that is new and founded on principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice." Thank you to The International Educator for providing international educators the platform to share their insights.

📈 Growth. 🖌️Craftsmanship. 🌏 Community. This is what the MLL Ecosystem Project is all about. 🌟 August cohorts forming now! Book an exploratory call today. The draft had been sitting for a bit, but it felt important to push through. Now more than ever translanguaging pedagogy is an act of love and resistance. I'm proud to share Translanguaging as an Act of Love and Resistance that I wrote for the Educator Collaborative's blog. "Yet, too often our schools and classrooms neglect this multilingual identity, even going as far to repress it, whether consciously or unconsciously. This is why it is an act of love to understand our students’ multilingual translanguaging processes and the pedagogical strategies that cultivate that power." I'd love to hear what you think. Reach out today to chat more about translanguaging. |
